Hello bloggettes!!

I LOVE ATLANTA! While my best friend was visiting me  in Atlanta we had an opportunity to explore Centennial Olympic Park

Centennial Olympic Park is a public park situated in downtown Atlanta, Georgia. The Olympic Park is owned and operated by the Georgia World Congress Center Authority. It was built by the Atlanta Committee for the Olympic Games (ACOG) as part of infrastructure improvements for the 1996 Olympic Games. The Olympic Park is so beautiful and I can see why it is iconic. If you ever visit the Park make sure you check out the Fountain of the Rings – the largest interactive fountain to incorporate the Olympic Rings symbol. The Fountain of the Rings is the centerpiece of Centennial Olympic Park and one of the most recognized and photographed landmarks in Georgia. Surrounding the Park are many tourist attractions include the College Football Hall of Fame, the Center for Civil and Human Rights, the World of Coca Cola, the Georgia Aquarium (see previous blog post HERE ), the Children’s Museum, and the CNN Center. In addition to the attractions, the Olympic Park hosts many events including music concerts and festivals, and 4th of July celebrations.
